Snuglo's mission is to create super cool, innovative, fun and functional fashion products for the modern baby and child. Incorporating snuglo's distinctive graphics, trade mark use of colour and high quality materials with it's original cute and witty designs snuglo hopes to compliment the fun and happiness of those precious first years.

Lisa Quinn Designer 

Designer Lisa Quinn has been drawing and making things since she was very small.  After a foundation year in Grennan Mill Craft School in Thomastown Co.Kilkenny she then studied fashion at the Grafton Academy in Dublin. She worked for a knitwear manufacturer in Dublin and then for Donna Karan in London. 

Lisa always wanted to create her own company and decided to specialise in babywear after trying to buy a present for a friends new baby and being struck by the lack of cool, modern, functional and fun baby clothing and products available at that time. She had found a gap in the market that simply wasn’t being catered for. Lisa decided to address this fashion dilemma for the stylish modern baby and snuglo was launched in Spring 1999 from the uber cool Spitalfields market in East London. It was a great success from the start and people came from near and far to visit her snuglo stall including some very famous customers. The snuglo collection now includes kids sizes up to eight years and retails at exclusive department stores and boutiques such as Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Designers Guild, Avoca and The Cross.

Lisa is inspired by art, colour, fashion, music, people and travelling but especially by her two daughters Eva who was born in 2001 and Georgia who arrived in 2004. Lisa is also inspired by humour and irony and tries to inject a bit of this into her collections. Lisa only uses the best fabrics and materials for her products and manufactures everything in the UK supporting fair labour practises and local manufacture. This is something close to Lisa’s heart and something she believes strongly in.

Lisa's unique style continues to make snuglo a firm favourite with exclusive stores, celebrities and the discerning customer. The snuglo lifestyle label for little people continues to expand. Keep checking this website for great new designs and products.
